The SQA website contains information regarding your results for August 2025. From candidate health and wellbeing to how to read and understand the SQA award certificate then more of your questions can be answered here.
Appeals Service
As per previous year appeals take the form of a marking review only. This is carried out by a senior SQA marker who is checking the marking for accuracy. Learners can submit 'Candidate Appeals' via the SQA Appeals Service page. As a school will appeal for any candidate who is 1 mark away from the next grade boundary. If you are 2/3 marks away from a grade boundary it may be worth considering an appeal. If you are more than 3 marks away from the grade boundary we do not recommend appealing, although we will support if you decide to do so. If you wish to find out your component marks and are considering an appeal then you can contact the school office who will inform you of your marks to enable you to make a decision if you wishto proceed with the appeal.
If you wish to discuss an appeal then please do not hesitate to contact the school office via email Lochside.Enquiries@ab-ed.org at or by calling us 01224241720
